The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim SRD on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to website service the area daily. The service level established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
